Classes with Zafira Dance Company
Join
award-winning Zafira as they jump-start the Tribo
weekend a day earlier with three hours of class premised
with an hour of yoga and conditioning.
This
class promises intensity. A maximum Teacher/Student-ratio
of 1 to15 ensures lots of hands-on, one-on-one coaching
from some of the most influential dancers in the Tribal
dance movement from the mid-nineties to the present.
The
Master Class alone provides four hours intensive study
with Zafira. The Master Class Weekend Package provides
this plus Thursday night cabin lodging, all site fees,
and a delicious, intimate whole foods Thursday dinner,
prepared by our culinary Hercules, Chef Oso. Be the
first to settle into the Tribo immersion experience!

Master Class - Gettin' Supah’ Saucy
Kicks, spins, long extensions and locks are the
signature of Zafira’s current repertoire. This
workshop presents some fancy footwork, spins and various
kicks, then incorporates them into innovative combinations
with intricate torso work. Couple these saucy moves
with evocative music and emotion, and you are at the
core of Zafira’s “steal-your-heart”
style of Belly Dance. You will leave this workshop
with performance-ready combinations that can be added
to your current repertoire.

Master Class Weekend Package: just $125 on top of
usual Tribo fees. $150 starting September 1.
